QUEENSLAND – VINERY Stud’s 2010 draft headed for next month’s Magic Millions Yearling Sale will include a sister to Australia’s benchmark 2YO, Solar Charged.
Lot 608 in the sale is a bay or brown filly by last season’s Champion First Season Sire Charge Forward out of the Danehill mare, Soul Singer, who has already left stakeswinner Causeway Queen.
“Solar Charged was reared here at Vinery and her sister is a lot like her at the same stage,” said Vinery Stud’s Adam White. “This filly is very much in the Charge Forward mould, she’s a well-balanced sort of filly, short-coupled and looks a ready made two-year-old. “She looks ideal for a Magic Millions-type race and obviously the mare can get one to get up and run early, as Charge Forward did, so I’d say this filly would be ideal for any one looking for a filly to race in the Magic Millions series.”
Vinery has 27 yearlings for sale at the Gold Coast auction which runs from January 6 until 10.
