BOOM colt Love Conquers All passed his first weight-for-age test with flying colours easily accounting for triple Group One winner Danleigh in yesterday’s AJC Missile Stakes (1200m) at Royal Randwick.

The John Hawkes-trained 3YO was able to outsprint Danleigh coasting down to the line with a margin of 1 1/2 lens with another triple Group One winner, Sniper’s Bullet, 2-lens back in third.

Winning rider Jim Cassidy heaped praise on Love Conquers All after the effort labelling him as “the real deal”.

“This horse is a future Group One winner if ever I’ve seen one,” the Pumper declared.
“He’s gone to that next level today and beaten two really good horses in Danleigh and Sniper’s Bullet.

Team Hawkes were understandably jubilant after Love Conquers All’s win, the sixth from nine career starts in his burgeoning career.

“He’s one of the best up and comers I’ve seen in a while,” co-trainer Michael Hawkes said.
“But today was the acid test. He had to show he was up to weight for age level and he did that. He’s such an impressive horse because you can put him anywhere in a race.
“He’s very genuine and still improving. We think he will get up to a mile because of his ability to relax in his races.”
