Flutterby was beaten nearly a sixteenth of a mile when last on debut over this track and distance in August, but put that performance behind her with a coast-to-coast victory Sept. 13.

Last start she went close to black type in the Listed Cassidy Stakes finishing fourth yet she started at generous odds to make amends in the Cut The Charm Stakes L.

With the early pace despite a high draw in nine, Flutterby took a slender advantage into the turn, opened up on them leaving the eighth pole and eased to hold off Side Street by a length.

The Jerry Bozzo trained youngster is now a winner of half of her four starts so far and her elevation to black-type winner keeps Congrats tally ticking over ahead of his first Australian-bred yearlings due to step into the ring at the Magic Millions and Inglis Classic sales during January 2014.

Congrats has a total of 28 yearling scheduled for the Gold Coast sale.

Congrats was leading US First Season Sire in 2010 and has so far sired 3 Grade 1 winners led by the champion filly Turbulent Descent who won four times at the highest level.

On top of that, Congrats boasts a tremendous winners-to runners ratio of 69.4 percent and with progeny comfortable on both turf and dirt.
