TALANTED first crop daughter of Myboycharlie, Euro Charline shapes as a major player when she takes her place against Europe’s best 3YO fillies in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes (1610m) at Royal Ascot this weekend.

The Marco Botti-trained youngster has won two of her four starts and was deemed very unlucky when runner-up in the Group 3 Nell Gwyn Stakes behind Sandiva, a filly she subsequently beat at her next start in the Goup One Newmarket 1000 Guineas where she was 5th of 17.

“She is in good form and won’t mind the ground. We decided not to run in the Irish Guineas, so she is nice and fresh, having had a nice break since Newmarket,” trainer Marco Botti declared

“It’s a tough race, but I thought she was not disgraced in the Guineas, so hopefully she can run another good race.”

Euro Charline wear the number one saddle cloth and Andrea Arzetni takes the ride again replacing Adam Kirby.

The filly is aiming to become Myboycharlie’s second Group 1 winner and join Triple Crown Syndications reigning ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) winner Peggy Jean.
