PROMISING Casino Prince filly Moon And The Stars took the next step towards an inevitable metro appearance when careering away for her second win in as many starts at Ballina’s TAB meeting on Sunday.

Trained on the Gold Coast by Harold Norman, the 3YO bay or bay filly created a huge impression on debut storming down the centre of the Murwillumbah track to take out the Premier Maiden Plate over 1200m.

Punters clearly liked what they saw that day, sending her out as the $2.10 favourite at Ballina.

Her backers were given no cause for concern with Moon And The Stars poised beautifully throughout before once again letting her superior turn of foot seal the outcome.

Moon And The Stars has a distinct `Vinery flavour’ to her.

Not only is she by new resident sire Casino Prince, her dam Jazz Band is a daughter of the Stud’s beloved foundation sire Red Ransom.

Moon And The Stars is one of 55 winners sired by Casino Prince until now led by the four-times G1 winner and Cox Plate runner-up All Too Hard as well as Longport, Sookie and ruling SAJC Derby winner, Escado.
