MOSSMAN gelding Buffering is line to emulate his sire’s Brisbane winter carnival heroics after his second win in as many starts at Eagle farm this afternoon.

As he did at Doomben on debut, Buffering showed speed to take up the running and was never seriously challenged opening up to score by one and a half lengths.

Trainer Robert Heathcote was impressed with the improvement Buffering achieved from his debut win.

“He did everything wrong the first day and only about 10 things wrong today so he is getting better,” Heathcote told the Courier Mail’s Bart Sinclair.

“That’s encouraging. If he can find more, then he is definitely worth setting for some of the better two-year-old races during the winter meetings.”

Buffering is part-owned part-owned by soccer stars Craig Moore, Zjelko Kalac and Scott Chipperfield.
