MORE THAN READY’S reigning Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies winner, More Than Real, is heavily fancied to take out the coveted Coronation Stakes Gr.1 at Royal Ascot in two days time.

The Todd Pletcher-trained daughter of More Than Ready hasn’t raced since winning the Churchill Down’s feature back in November but has arrived in great shape ahead of her UK quest according to the stable’s Ginny DePasquale.

”She is definitely bigger, stronger, and more mature than last year. She’s very focused on her training and has been doing quite well here,” he said.

”It’s such a prestigious race and I think, as well as Wesley Ward’s recent successes at Royal Ascot, could open the door to this beautiful place for more Americans.

”They took their time with More Than Real. She’s had a break and I am not sure this race always on her agenda, but it fits.

Fans of More Than Ready can get their fix tonight when promising local trained 3yo Traffic Sister (USA) has her fifth start in the Listed Sandringham Handicap (1600m) at 2.35am AEST.

Traffic Sister posted an easy 2 1/4-lens win in a Nottingham Maiden last start but is well credentialed for a Listed race having previously run fifth in the Group 1 Ascot Fillies Mile in September.
