AUSTRALIAN bred Big Brown 2YO Bomber Brown has drawn the ideal alley in his quest for a winning debut in tomorrow’s Colin Pearce 100th Birthday Plate (1000m) at Randwick.

The David Payne trained youngster will jump from barrier 4 in the 11-horse field and with a 3kg weight reduction for talented apprentice Serg Lisnyy.

Bomber Brown put the writing on the wall for a bold showing following a recent trial win holding off the well regarded John O’Shea trained 2YO Kernahan in the 900m heat.

Bomber Brown is part of Big Brown’s first Australian crop and is out of Flying Spur mare Talons Shown who won close to $150,000 during her career.

Big Brown has quickly made himself a global sire with first-crop winners in the USA, Canada, Europe and Japan.
