A $500,000 filly from Snitzerland capped a successful morning session for All Too Hard at the Inglis Easter Sale on Wednesday.

The Vinery sire also had filly from Smiles for Layla sell in the first hour of trade on Day 3 at Riverside Stables.  She was purchased by new Cambridge Stud owners Brendan and Jo Lindsay for $260,000 and a third filly from Sacred Choice made $180,000 to the bid of UK agent Dermot Farrington.

The half-million filly is the first live foal from Group 1 star Snitzerland and was bought by Belmont Bloodstock (FBAA) agent Damon Gabbedy.  The mare was bred back to All Too Hard and foaled a colt in September.

All Too Hard is on a roll with 6 new stakes-horses in the last month and Team Hawkes has confirmed its rising star 2yo Outrageous, equal Timeform rated with Ef Troop and Aylmerton, will accept for the Champagne Stakes Gr.1 at Randwick on April 21.  A slashing winner at Newcastle in February, he went missing on a trip down south to Flemington but was right back on track when beaten a length in the Inglis Sires’ Gr.1 last time out.

Outrageous was blocked on straightening and finished off when clear to take a very good third.  “He finishes right there if he gets any luck,” jockey Brenton Avdulla said.  “He ran terrific.”

All Too Hard has more black-type in sight at Randwick this Saturday starting with Cristal Eyes in the Fernhill Hcp LR.  The Lindsay Park filly was placed in the TBV Stakes Gr.3 at Flemington before going to Pakenham for an easy kill on March 29.

Waimea Bay is third emergency for the Provincial Championships Final (1400m) but Kris Lees has a viable alternative in the South Pacific Classic LR over the same trip.  She won at Rosehill before a black-type third in the Canberra Guineas LR last month.

Melbourne filly Illuminaire returns to Morphettville for the Dequetteville Stakes LR following a tip-top second in the Magic Millions Adelaide 2YO Classic last month.  She is part-owned and trained by Troy Corstens for a syndicate that include Shadwell Estates.

Emerging stayer All Hard Wood will be strong at the end of 2400m in the Galilee Series Final LR at Caulfield on Saturday.   All Too Hard sired him from Wood Lane (Sadler’s Wells) who won over 2200m in France before arriving in Australia via Tattersalls.

More Than Ready has two new stakes prospects at Perth’s autumn carnival this Saturday.  Sally’s Realm is one of four starters for Bob and Sandra Peters in the WA Oaks Gr.3 and Nocelle has the speed  to overcome a wide draw in the Karrakatta Plate Gr.2

The Vinery legend sired his latest stakes winner when Rushing Fall won the Appalachian Stakes Gr.2 at Keeneland on Monday morning (AEST) and then an international buying bench purchased 7 of his yearlings at the Inglis Easter Sale for an average of $282,142.

The Hallowell Belle filly offered by Vinery (as agent) was purchased by Godolphin for $400,000.  Next in line were the More Than Ready colts from Gunawati George (George Moore Bloodstock) and Calming Influence (Carmel Size Racing) who were both bought for Hong Kong.
