VINERY Stud partner Greg Perry capped off a great week when his More Than Ready mare More Than A Dream debut with a most impressive win at Cranbourne in Victoria.

Perry bred and retains a share in Wednesday’s Group 1 MRC One Thousand Guineas (1600m) winner Commanding Jewel who emulated her half-sister, Atlantic Jewel’s (also bred by Perry) win in the classic 12 months earlier.

More Than A Dream is trained by Mick Price who puts the polish on reigning Blue Diamond winner and Golden Slipper runner-up, Samaready (by More Than Ready), whom Perry also races in partnership.

His latest potential star is a four-year-old out of the Maroof mare Dream Leica who is a half-sister to Group 1 winners Leica Guv and Light Fantastic.

This is also the family of twice Doncaster hero Pharaoh and well as Leica Lover and the VRC Derby winners Redding and Nothin’ Leica Dane.
