ANOTHER 3YO FOR BIG BROWN

BIG Brown filly Alborbrown looks set for a bright future in the wake of her emphatic come from behind 2-lens win at Gawler in South Australia during the week.

The $100,000 Magic Millions yearling purchase landed some significant wagers backed in from $9 into $6.
Ridden patiently by the State’s leading jockey Dom Tourneur, Alborbrown quickly rounded up her rivals to spear away to win by a comfortable margin at only her fourth start.

Alborbrown is a chestnut 3YO from Big Brown’s first Australian crop.

She is out of the Zeditave mare, Alborada, who is an unraced three-quarter-sister to Group 2 VRC Maribyrnong Plate winner The Heavyweight and his VRC Criterion Stakes and VATC Rancher Stakes winning brother Zedrich.

Big Brown has so far sired 19 winners from his first Australian crop including the stakes placed pairing of Wroclaw and the Gai Waterhouse trained Muscovado.

Internationally, Big Brown has sired winners all around the globe totally 131 in number with 11 stakeswinners.
Chief among those is the Coolmore owned Darwin who was a sale topping $US1.3m Ready To Run 2YO in Florida and is now a Group winner in Europe.
