DOWDSTOWN FOR A DOUBLE, CHARLIE BOY BACK

MYBOYCHARLIE 3YO Dowdstown Charlie is aiming to post consecutive wins this weekend when he heads to Randwick for the ATC Sportsyear BM75 over 1400m.

The David Payne-trained gelding should in fact be looking to a hat-trick given his now well famous unlucky third at HQ prior to him making amends at home at Rosehill in mid-June.

Dowdstown Charlie is a first crop son of his G1 winning sire and was third to Eurozone and Dissisdent in the Listed Rosebud (1200m) in August 2013.

Meanwhile another Rosehill resident Myboycharlie expected to be back at the track in the the coming weeks is Triple Crown Syndications Group 2 winner Charlie Boy.

Charlie Boy hasn’t been seen on the track since last Spring having missed the Autumn Carnival due pulling a muscle in the lead in to the Magic Millions 3yo Classic in January.

The Gerald Ryan trained 3YO worked on the Pro Ride on Thursday morning over 1000m.
