VINERY OPEN DAYS

There are almost daily inspections of Group 1 sprinter Star Turn at Vinery Stud which will hold him in good stead when he joins the roster for the annual morning Stallion Parades in late August.

The Team Hawkes-trained colt proved himself against his age and all comers this season and is proving popular with breeders at a $22,000 service fee.

The parades are scheduled for Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th August at 9.ooam preceded by breakfast at 8.30.   All 8 Stallions will be on show as well as new foals.  As usual, the Parades will be live-streamed via Facebook and highlights on the Vinery YouTube channel.

Apart from launching Star Turn’s stud career, Vinery will also present a parade of the first foals of Press Statement and Headwater.

The perfect way to kick of your weekend, the Parades run for 30-40 minutes providing plenty of time to attend surrounding farms.

PRESS STATEMENT:  The only colt of his generation to win at Group 1 level as a 2yo and 3yo.   Rated a better 2yo than Zoustar & Brazen Beau by Chris Waller and well received at Stud last year.  A Proven Miler wit first crop foals this Spring.

TESTA ROSSA:  Phenomenal 73% winners-to-runners strike-rate after a decade of service at Vinery Stud.   Sired another 6 stakes winners this season and will cover a small select book of mares this season.
