NUMBER ONE. THE FIRST

VINERY’S freshman sire Onemorenomore will be represented by his first runner this weekend when Say My Name tackles the VRC Maribyrnong Plate Trial L (1000m) at Flemington.

Say My Name is trained at the venue by Michael Moroney whose brother Paul Moroney selected the colt from Armidale Stud’s 2013 draft at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.

Onemorenomore is one of the favourites to take out Champion First Season Sire honours given a high number of 2YO’s to represent him, many of whom are stationed in the nation’s foremost stables.

Onemorenomore was a grand 2YO in his day finishing 3rd in the Breeders’ Plate on debut in record time before taking out the third leg of the Sydney Triple Crown namely the Group 1 Champagne Stakes at Royal Randwick.

Say My Name is out of a Rory’s Jester mare, Come On Rory, whose career highlight was her third place in the Listed SAJC Balcrest Stakes in Adelaide.
