MAGIC MILLIONS MISS MISSES THE START. GETS THE PRIZE

UP and coming Novocastrian filly Pasadoble’s win at Scone on Friday afternoon was the perfect entree for Samready’s scrumptious main course delivered later that night in what proved to be a big day out for the Vinery crew.

Pasadoble is raced by several wive sof Vinery partners in an all-female syndicate put together to take advantage of the Magic Millions innovative push to boost female ownership of horses.

The Kris Lees-trained 3YO kicked off her career with a thumping 6-lens win at Muswellbrook prior to Friday’s effort at Scone while leaping a grade from a Mdn to a C2.  Pasadoble proved too good despite missing the start by two lengths.

Pasadoble was sold for $310,000 at the 2012 Magic Millions Yearling Sale and is a daughter of Danehill Dancer out the stakes-placed Face Of The Earth.

The filly boasts a grand pedigree being a half-sister to Denise’s Joy winner, Diamond Earth, who has earnings of more than $600,000.
