A brilliant win by Unencumbered in the $200,000 Magic Millions Wyong 2YO Classic RL on Thursday has again put the spotlight on his dam sire More Than Ready (USA), who has made a big impact this year through his daughters siring the dams of three Group I winners – reports Breednet.com.au

The grand-son of Halo is now the sire of the dam of 14 stakes-winners in total led by three 2013 Gr.1 winner’s – Rebel Dane, Miracles of Life and Atlante, all three of them by Danehill (USA) line sires as is another of his Australian stakes-winner in Impetuous, while Unencumbered is by a Danzig line sire in Testa Rossa.

With sire-sons Sebring (Widden), Pluck (Vinery) and Verrazano (Coolmore) coming through, More Than Ready’s progeny look set to continue his influence on Australian breeding.
