TRIPLE ELEGANCE MAY CONQUER ALL

TRAINER Chris Waller has been convinced to target the Doncaster Mile with Mossman 4YO Triple Elegance after a dazzling win at Rosehill Gardens today.

Waller has won two of the past three Doncaster’s and is confident that his quest for a third is in safe hands with this tidy galloper.

“I think that today confirmed he’s a bit better than what we thought,” Waller said.
“We’ll freshen him up now and get him ready for a big race.
“Take this the right way, the owners have won the Doncaster before and I’m not running Triple Honour in it this year, he’s going to Queensland, so I’ll be doing everything I can to get this horse there.
“His form leading into it will tell us if we’ve got a chance, you certainly can’t say he’s got a chance just on that race today.”

Triple Elegance has now won 6 times and has been placed 7 times from his 16 appearances, none of them more dominant than today’s 6.5-lens win in the STC Winning Post Restaurant Bm95 Handicap over 1500m.
Waller has nursed Triple Elegance through the grades banking over $340,000 along the way.

Meanwhile,¬†Mossman stallion Love Conquers All served notice of a bright autumn ahead after a stirring second in today’s feature Group 2 STC Expressway Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill Gardens.

It was the first time the son of Mossman had been in action since finishing fourth behind Hay List (a horse whom he defeated in the June Stakes) in the Manikato Stakes in September.

Sent out at $3.20 in the hot field, Love Conquers All used his tactical speed to hold an advantgeous position throughout eventually finishing 0.8-lens behind Centennial Park but ahead of Hot Danish and Danleigh.

“I would imagine Team Hawkes and Nick Moraitis would have been pleased with the way he has come back,” Vinery’s Adam White said.
“There are s number of good races that he could contest – perhaps the T.J. Smith would be a target but he could just as well go to Melbourne for the Newmarket.”
