TESTA’S RAID ON STAKES TO CONTINUE

TESTA Rossa stands an undeniable chance of siring yet another new stakeswinner for the third week in a row when the talented Cocky Raider contests the Ming Dynasty Stakes (1400m) at Warwick Farm tomorrow.

The David Payne trained galloper is seeking to become his sire’s 38th individual stakeswinner, a tally that has soared in recent weeks with new additions Pane In The Glass, Testascana and the Asian resident, World Fortune.

Cocky Raider won at Kembla over 900m on debut but has since furnished into a well above average horse at or around the mile highlighted by his second placing to Do You Think in the Baillieu Handicap (1400m) in the autumn.

Two weeks later, Cocky raider finished fast from the tail of the field to take second again, this time in the Fernhill Handicap over 1600m at Randwick.
