RED RANSOM UNEARTHS ANOTHER 2YO MILER

In Germany overnight, deceased Vinery Stallion Red Ransom added a another juvenile Stakes winner when daughter Paraisa dominated the Listed Grosser Preis Vom Gestut Burg Eberstein (1600m) for 2YO fillies at Hannover.

Ridden by Eduardo Pedroza for trainer Andreas Wohler, Paraisa defeated UK-bred Enjoy The Life (Medicean-Accusation, by Barathea) by a 1.5 lengths with a further length to So Smart (Selkirk-So Squally, by Monsun) in third.

It was Paraisa’s third career start having finished 3rd in the Gr3 Preis Der Winterkonigin (1600m) at Baden-Baden on October 9 & runner-up in September’s Listed Kronimus Rennen (1200m) at Baden-Baden on debut.

Red Ransom died at the age of 22 at Vinery Scone and is succeeded at the famed Hunter Valley nursery by 2yo Group 1 mile winner Onemorenomore.
